Job Description
Work from home! A well-established Insurance company is seeking an AVP, Actuarial Model Validation, to lead a team of actuarial staff and work closely with IT developers to maintain the company's model validation tools. The successful candidate will be the expert on AXIS model validation tools and provide technical support and training to internal and external users. You will collaborate with various teams to understand the required changes to Corporate AXIS models and oversee updates to the validation tools. The ideal candidate should have an ASA or FSA certification, 7-10 years of related actuarial experience, and extensive experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and VBA. Fixed Indexed Annuities or Indexed Universal Life experience is a plus. Comp: $165-170K. (#53358)
