Job Description

Well-established client in the Southeast is searching for an Underwriter who will investigate and determine the insurability of new applicants, analyze claim information, and clarify risk. This individual will also be responsible for authorizing discounts while evaluating and preparing files for the underwriting committee review. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of casualty underwriting experience, including knowledge of policy contract terms & conditions, classification, rating, and analytical skills. Actuarial background is a plus but not required; exam support is offered. (#53849)
